The American Hunter was designed for the fellow that really does not like the feel or fit of the Bisley® style gripframe along with the Bisley® hammer and trigger. On the American Hunter we install a slightly smaller gripframe, do a Gunfighter Grip to it, install either laminated cherry, exotic wood, ivory Corian or black micarta grips on it or you can have Mongolian stag at a slight premium.

The American Hunter is built on your Ruger Blackhawk® or Super Blackhawk® base gun. We fit our own beefy 5 shot stainless cylinder to it chambered in either 454, 475 Linebaugh, 480, 500 Linebaugh or 510 GNR. We fit a stainless hammer and trigger to this two toned beauty along with stainless pins, screws and inner parts. or if you prefer you can have the American Hunter is either all Black Chromex or all satin stainless steel We Vapor Hone the entire gun so the satin Black Chromex finish contrast well with the satin stainless. The American Hunter can be personalized with your name or initials on it at no extra charge. Each gun is fully sighted in and comes with a super smooth action job. The sights are our gold bead front and V rear or you can have the standard ramp front and white outline rear.
