| GARY REEDER CUSTOM GUNS is very pleased to announce the return of a classic series. Several times a month we have folks asking about rechambering and rebarreling the large frame Dan Wesson revolvers. For those that have the old 357 Maximum, or 414 Super Mag, we now have our KODIAK HUNTER. The KODIAK HUNTER is rechambering your Dan Wesson and rebarreling it to new calibers. Here is what we do. If you have a 357 Maximum revolver, we can build a new barrel and rechamber your current cylinder to 375 GNR or 41 GNR#2. If you have one of the 375 Super mag and can't find ammo for it, we can rechamber it to the 375 GNR or rechamber and rebarrel it to the 41 GNR#2. If you have a 414 Super Mag and want much more power, we can rechamber your cylinder to 41 GNR#2. In the conversion we re-mark your barrel shroud with the correct caliber and if your revolver is blue we reblue it in either satin black or high polish Black Chromex. If stainless, we re-mark it and give it a soft satin Vapor Honed finish. |
