Shortly after the Ruger Vaquero® was introduced in 1994, we released our first 2 series of cowboy guns built on the revolver , the Ultimate Vaquero® and the Long Rider. Since that date both have been very popular, especially our Long Rider Classic. This beauty is built on your old model Vaquero® and built pretty much from the ground up.
We take the Vaquero® you furnish, fit our bisley style Gunfighter Grip to it with a set if ivory micarta grips or the grips of your choosing , fit the barrel in the length and caliber you choose, and then fit a new Colt style cylinder. The Long Rider Classic can be had in high polished stainless or our high polished Black Chromex, according to what finish your Vaquero® is.
We add the distinctive gold bands to the barrel, add our own serrated front sight (not shown), do a full action job for a super slick trigger pull, and sight it in dead on at 20 yards. One of the classiest revolvers we have ever made is our Long Rider Classic. |
